4 … Railay East beach isn't a beach at all - more like a muddy tidal flat, and nearby Ao Pha Nang beach (possibly the most beautiful) only has one mega-expensive resort. Railay West is the best but as noted just a few resorts dominate it - still my favourite though (actually Ao Phra Nang - not to be confused with Ao Nang - is the nicest beach a short walk from West Railay, but has only one super-expensive Travel forums for Ao Nang. Stay at Railey. Stay in both places. I recommend that you decide which place offers the most activities that interest you, and use that as a measurement to decide where to stay and how long.
